WELCOME TO THE ANNUAL WYDAHO Rendezvous, Teton Bike Fest

PRESENTED BY
TETON VALLEY TRAILS & PATHWAYS

As the Executive Director for Teton Valley Trails and Pathways I am honored to welcome you to the Wydaho Rendezvous, Teton Bike Festival. The Festival is a fundraiser for Teton Valley Trails and Pathways and supports our goal of continuing to work on maintaining and developing a great trail network and to achieve our mission of a trails and pathways connected community.

The festival continues a long tradition of improvements.  A second chairlift has been brought into service at Grand Targhee Resort for riders looking for more moderate flow trails and is perfect for younger riders and parents looking to put in several short experiences with nice relaxing breaks on the chair.  New cross country trails and downhill trails have also been built at Grand Targhee Resort as well as Teton Valley and Jackson Hole expanding new riding opportunities.

Additionally, we have asked several professional cyclists to host mini-clinics to provide participants opportunity to learn about things related to bike maintenance, bike packing, sports psychology, and morning yoga, and many more.

The evenings kick off with our awesome quick-fire raffles on the courtyard grass.  Get your Instagram story going with our Shenanigan events and grab a cold one up at the Trap Bar & Grill for some live music.

We also want to call out the great work that Grand Targhee Resort and Trail Boss, Andy Williams, have done to bring world-class mountain bike trails to the area. The quality and variety of trails available to riders is truly amazing and makes this an ideal place for the festival.

While you are here, we encourage you get out and discover our community off the trail. Visit the local bike shops, restaurants, stores, and businesses thereby supporting our community so it will continue to proposer and be here for your next visit.

All the best,

Dan Verbeten

WHEN IS IT?
LABOR DAY WEEKEND

August 30, 2019 – September 2, 2019

TETON TRAILS GROW EVERY YEAR

The incredible, growing Teton trail system within the Caribou-Targhee National Forest offers several unique towns that are very special to us and we can’t wait to show you around, Alta, Wilson, and Jackson Hole, Wyoming and our Idaho towns steeped in riding Tetonia, Driggs, and Victor.   The expanding and improved trails are just the tip of the of the iceberg near two spectacular National Parks you’ll find anywhere.

This is a trail system shared with hikers and equestrians, and our goal with this festival is to celebrate it appropriately: respect the resource, respect other trail users and generally leave a great impression of the mountain bike community which means NOT leaving our physical impression!! Everybody be smart, stay on legal system trails and let’s show the world what the mountain bike vibe is all about!!!
